A specialty coffee cart that knows how DC events actually run

DC events have a particular rhythm. The 8am association breakfast that has to be cleared before the 10am panel. The embassy reception where the guest list matters more than the guest count. The Hill fundraiser where half the room leaves after twenty minutes and the other half stays for two hours. The Navy Yard product launch competing with four other launches the same week.

We’ve worked enough of them to plan around it. Our cart is compact and collapsible, which matters more in this city than most — it fits through the service corridors of historic Georgetown townhouses, into hotel ballrooms with tight load-in windows, and onto rooftops where a trailer was never an option.

Amazon, Deloitte, Disney, Porsche, McLaren, Rivian, Anthropologie, Madewell and Arc’teryx have all put our cart in front of their guests. Not because we’re the cheapest option in DC, but because the coffee holds up and the setup doesn’t create problems for whoever is running the room.

The DC events we cater

Corporate and government contracting

Client days, all-hands, quarterly kickoffs, and the long tail of meetings that happen between K Street, downtown, and the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor across the river. We show up on time and we’re gone before your next session starts.

Associations and conferences

DC has more trade associations than any city in the country, and they run more breakfast programming than anywhere else. A coffee cart with a real barista turns the pre-session lobby from a bottleneck into the part people remember.

Product launches and brand activations

Union Market, the Wharf, Navy Yard and Ivy City have become the default activation venues in this city. This is where custom cart wraps and ripple latte art printing earn their keep — your logo on the crema, in every photo, on every feed.

Embassy and diplomatic receptions

Our Turkish coffee service is genuinely at home in this city’s diplomatic circuit, prepared traditionally rather than as a novelty. Ask us about it.

Weddings and private celebrations

Georgetown gardens, Hay-Adams and Willard ballrooms, Meridian House, Dumbarton House, the Line, Union Station. Late-afternoon espresso before dinner service, or a cart that runs through the after-party.

Recruiting, campus and university events

Georgetown, GW, American, Howard, Catholic and Gallaudet. Good coffee raises attendance at anything scheduled before 10am — this is not a theory, it is repeatedly true.

Questions DC planners ask us

Can you handle a federal building or secure venue?

Yes. We’re fully insured, we provide certificates of insurance to venue specification, and we’re used to advance security clearance paperwork and staff manifests. Give us lead time and it’s routine.

What about parking and load-in downtown?

We plan for it. Tell us the venue and the load-in window and we’ll work out access in advance rather than discovering it on the morning. The collapsible cart means we can often use a passenger elevator when a freight elevator isn’t available.

Do you serve outdoor events on the Mall or in parks?

Yes, with the right permits in place and a power plan agreed in advance. Tell us early — outdoor DC events have their own logistics and we’d rather solve them with time to spare.

How early can you set up?

As early as your venue allows. For an 8am service we’re typically on site by 6:30am. We build our own schedule around yours.
